A New Camera
There is always a moment, just after buying a new camera, when everything feels possible.
You imagine the photographs you will take. The places you will go. The versions of yourself that will finally show up now that you have the right tool in your hands.
For a while, that feeling is enough.
Then reality settles back in. The camera does not change how you see. It does not make decisions for you. It does not replace patience or attention.
That is not a disappointment. It is a reminder.
The work is still yours.
